The operational problem

At İGA Istanbul Airport, apron buses run 24 hours a day, but interior cleaning only happens 08:30–17:30 — a 15-hour daily hygiene gap. That gap alone moves an average of 6,137 passengers a day in unclean vehicles across roughly 76 off-hours trips.

Where Munulus is installed

Piloted on Çelebi Aviation's apron fleet at İGA Istanbul Airport, validated across four site visits between December 2025 and March 2026.

How it fits the workflow

No change to ground crew workflow — the unit disinfects while the vehicle operates its normal shuttle route between aircraft and terminal.

What it automates

Mechanically, electronically and software-validated autonomous disinfection with zero manual intervention — confirmed problem-free across the full pilot period.

Operational value

First-ever deployment of this technology on any apron or ground-services vehicle worldwide, patent-pending.

Integration

Validated on Çelebi's İGA fleet (8 vehicles).
