Autonomous hygiene system for vertical handrails

Juno is Munulus's autonomous UV-C disinfection unit for public transit handrails — running independent, AI-scheduled cleaning cycles throughout the service day without taking the vehicle out of operation.
Public transit vehicles — buses, minibuses/dolmuş, trams and campus shuttles.
Hygiene becomes part of the operation instead of an end-of-day task: repeatable, automated intervention while the fleet keeps moving.
Mounts directly onto existing handrails and poles — buses, minibuses/dolmuş, trams and campus shuttles — with no vehicle modification required. Ø100 mm × 70 mm footprint, powered by an internal 900 mAh rechargeable battery (55–65 days per charge depending on usage), Wi-Fi and GPS connected for fleet-wide monitoring.
99.99% pathogen reduction across two bacteria strains, independently confirmed by three separate laboratories (Nanolab Samsun, Konya Tarım ve Gıda Üniversitesi, Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi Çevre Gıda ve Endüstriyel Analiz Laboratuvarı) — each test run directly on an active vehicle in public service, not a lab rig. Field-proven on the Sarıyer–Beşiktaş–Maslak dolmuş line (10+ of its 130+ vehicles equipped), on university shuttle fleets and in a four-visit airport apron pilot.
Specifications are published only after engineering validation by Munulus.
